Dropped off a new cold wax and oil piece at Hang It Up yesterday afternoon. Somewhat new idea for me in this medium. I used stencils fairly heavily in this piece (unfortunately did not photograph it) and then pushed them back with the cold wax and oil process. Messed with it until I was sick of it!!!! Then, all of a sudden it came together. Took it over to HIU and the girls sold it before I got back home. We artists can produce work until the cows come home but without a venue to market and show our work, it's pretty much for naught. Now, wish I had photographed that piece......it's called "Waterfall." Same idea as "Cave," which I show you here.
