April and May are shaping up to be busy months. The opening reception at The Reserve at Lake Keowee was Monday night. Diane Geiger, Henley, Cleary, and I have our work hung and ready for viewing until mid-May. April 30th and May 1st we will be there in the flesh to demonstrate some of our techniques during the POP tour. Diane from Hang It Up Gallery was juried into the Anderson Art Center show and I was juried into Gallery 313 for the same time period. Thrilled and pleased about that. The opening reception will be Friday night, April 8th. Also the same night will be the Lavonia Downtown Development art show at The Cultural Center. Diane and I are in that show, too. Diane and Kathy will be in Anderson that night and I'll be in Lavonia, so come by if you get a chance. Both shows start at 7:00. Next week Diane, Henley, and I will be at the Duke World of Energy in Seneca, SC with a reception Thursday night, April 14th fro 5:30 to 7:00. Again, we three are "artists in residence" representing The Reserve at Lake Keowee. This is one throw-down beautiful place, so come on up. Easy drive.
Diane and I will be working on a "wood quilt" for the Lavonia Downtown Development Quilt Trail. This will be starting May 7th at the spring festival in Lavonia. After that, I'll keep y'all posted. I need a nap now!!!!!!
